What is Boudoir Photography?

Boudoir” is originally a French word meaning a lady's private dressing room or bedroom. In photography, boudoir refers to a style in which women/men pose for photographs partially clothed, lingerie/underwear. These photos are also used as a way to document how great you look and feel about yourself at this given time.

Before you see my work…

I started doing boudoir photography for men to expand my portfolio, and realized how great I can capture mens body and how they feel in the moment. Male boudoir encompasses much more, as men are often expected to be a certain way and guys have just as many body image issues as women do. I am also able to capture the way we are all different and it is okay to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Such as shirtless, different underwear styles like boxers, boxer briefs, briefs or jocks, even nude. It's not just for perfect bodies, it's for everybody, and I will certainly never treat anyone's body as a joke.

Masculinity is too often questioned, and not socially acceptable for them to talk about their bodies. This gives them the opportunity to feel confident in front of a camera and later show them the art they can create with their bodies.

This is in no way sexual. The photos I capture nude are more tasteful and I meet the clients comfortability.

I shoot men and women nude.  I see naked people and I think how can I capture their best features and best moods. That is my job. My eyes go to how the light is falling on them, or how I can turn their body to showcase their beauty in the best way.  My eyes go to the way their face lights up when they laugh, or when the light hits them perfectly.  I don't look at any body part any differently than I do an elbow or a back. Some guys get all the way naked, some don't, just like some women get naked and some don't.

I respects everyones body and I hope they respect the work I do. With all that being said, you can now see boudoir portfolio.
